The “Schwarz Adler” (Black Eagle) Cellar is in the heart of Kurtatsch, at the Josef Vigil Schweiggl Square and is the oldest Gasthaus (inn) in the place. The inn, with its interesting history, has been operating for centuries.

The connection of new and old has been the basic idea during the redevelopment of the house.

With the year 2007 the accurate renovation and reorganization of the historical building were concluded and the Black Eagle Cellar could finally welcome its guests in the new shape.
